Facebook has evolved from a simple social network into a major platform for businesses in New Hampshire.

In 2025, two essential tools continue to shape how companies handle their Facebook and Instagram presence: Facebook Business Suite and Facebook Business Manager. Understanding how they differ will help you decide which tool is best for your business needs.

Facebook Business Suite vs. Facebook Business Manager in 2025

Facebook Business Suite (also known as Meta Business Suite) is your go-to for daily social media tasks, such as scheduling posts on both Facebook and Instagram, reviewing direct messages, and getting insights on content performance. It’s available on desktop and as a mobile app.

Facebook Business Manager remains the core solution for controlling your Facebook Page and ad accounts. It’s a desktop-only tool where you can manage everything from ad placements to user permissions—all from a single hub.

Here’s how Facebook itself explains it:

“Business Manager serves as a one-stop shop to manage business tools, business assets, and employee access to these assets.”

Even in 2025, Facebook Business Manager is still the go-to solution for any business looking to handle marketing and advertising tasks at scale. While the Suite streamlines everyday posting and messaging, Business Manager focuses on the administrative, technical, and advertising side of things.

What You Can Do with Facebook Business Manager

Once you set up your account, you’ll be able to:

Verify your domain
Give access to your assets to a business partner without giving them ownership
Separate professional tasks from personal Facebook usage
Upload a list of homeowners and email subscribers
Create “block lists” to prevent your ads from appearing in unwanted places
View all of your Ad Accounts and Pages
Interact with your audience under your business name

If you already have a Business Manager account, just head to business.facebook.com/settings to log in.

Note: As of 2025, Facebook Business Manager is still the only way to give a partner partial access to your assets without handing over full ownership.

Getting Started with Facebook Business Manager in 2025

If you don’t yet have a Facebook Business account, you might be redirected to create one first. Here’s how:

  1. Go to business.facebook.com and click Create Account.
  2. Enter your business name, your name, and the business email address you plan to use for Business Manager.
  3. Provide your business details—address, phone number, and website. Then, choose whether you’re using Business Manager for your own company or on behalf of a homeowner.
  4. Check your business email to confirm your account.

Adding Your Facebook Page to the Business Manager

  1. Open the Business Manager dashboard (business.facebook.com).
  2. Select “Add Page.”
  3. Enter the name of your Facebook Business Page and click Add Page again.

Within moments, your Page will be integrated into Business Manager, allowing you to manage it alongside your other assets.

How to Add Your Facebook Ad Accounts to the Business Manager

Having a Business Manager account isn’t required to run ads on Facebook, but it does give you easier ways to track engagement and respond to ad comments.

If You Already Have a Facebook Ad Account

  1. Go to your Business Manager dashboard.
  2. Click Add Ad Account and confirm using your account ID (found in your Ads Manager).

Remember, once you add an ad account, you can’t remove it—so only add the accounts you own.

If You Need a New Facebook Ad Account

  1. Go to the Business Manager dashboard.
  2. Click Add Ad Account, then Create Account.
  3. Enter your account details and click Next.
  4. Confirm you’re using the ad account for your own business and click Create.
