Peterborough Players, founded in 1933, is a nonprofit professional theater nestled in a historic 18th-century barn at Stearns Farm. Known for its top-quality productions, it has become a cultural gem in the region, offering everything from contemporary premieres to timeless classics in an intimate 250-seat venue.
The Challenge
Peterborough Players‘ social media presence was outdated, lacking essential links and tags. Posts and content were irregular, without a clear strategy. As a result, they struggled to grow their followers, reach, and engagement.
The Solution
Our goal was to revitalize their social media through a comprehensive strategy. We focused on creating engaging content for current followers, sharing interesting facts about the historic theater, and promoting the new season with sales-oriented posts. Additionally, we highlighted relevant information like casting, directors, and behind-the-scenes insights to capture users’ attention. We also explored collaborations with influencers to reach new audiences and provide a fresh perspective on the Peterborough Players experience.
The Results

There was a significant increase in reach, with Facebook growing by 218.5% and Instagram by 132.9%, allowing us to connect with a much broader audience.
We gained 312 new followers across both platforms, with the most substantial growth occurring during the summer season.
Interactions with the content increased, with Facebook seeing a 275.2% rise and Instagram achieving a 100%.
